Mr. Chris Snopek
Founder and Executive Director
Through the grace of God, Mr. Snopek founded Performance Sports Academy (PSA) in Flowood, MS in
2001. PSA is the first Multi-Sport Instructional based facility of its kind to open in Central
Mississippi. PSA is the local leader in baseball skills instruction: Pitching, Hitting, Fielding,
Catching, and Throwing the baseball; Girls fast pitch softball and Indoor Soccer. PSA also hosts
a number of outdoor sporting events: High School Fall Baseball, Competitive Youth Fall Baseball,
Youth Baseball Tournaments, Collegiate Wood Bat Summer League, and High School Summer Travel
Teams. Mr. Snopek played collegiate baseball at Ole Miss where he was selected All-American/ All
SEC in 1992. Mr. Snopek played 10 yrs of Professional Baseball. Up to 3 years were spent in the
Major Leagues with the White Sox and Red Sox. In 2001, Mr. Snopek played for Team USA in the
World Cup hosted in Taiwan. Mr. Snopek has established many Professional and Collegiate Athletic
relationships throughout the United States. In 2000, Mr. Snopek gave his life to Christ and born
again. He is married to the former Carla Russell and they have 4 children: Kate Russell,
Christopher, Lydia, and John Whitaker.
Mr. Pete Young
PSA360.com Executive Scouting Director
Mr. Pete Young joined PSA in 2007. Mr. Young instructs baseball athletes in Pitching, Hitting,
and Fielding. Mr. Young Co- manages the Collegiate Wood Bat League and High School Fall League
for PSA. Mr. Young was All SEC at Mississippi State where he pitched and played thirdbase. Mr.
Young was drafted by the Montreal Expos and reached the Major League level. Mr. Young has coched
at the Mississippi Collegiate Level: Co-Lin CC and Southwest CC. Mr. Young has established many
Professional and Collegiate baseball relationships throughout the Southeast and Midwest United
States. Mr. Young will lead player evaluations for PSA360.com and lead communication with current
College Coaches.

Performance Sports Academy is the first professional sports academy of its kind in the state of
Mississippi. Performance Sports Academy offers services to improve athletes in Baseball, Softball,
Soccer, and Speed/Agility. Performance Sports Academy has professional instructors using the latest
techniques and knowledge to prepare athletes for their ultimate performance through our mission
statement...Postively influence the mental, physical, and spirtual development of young athletes by
providing a highly professional environment to prepare athletes for their ultimate performance!
